Early Bird Results
The BG Curling Club hosted its annual Early Bird Bonspiel on September 29-30, 2007, and by all accounts it was a great success. The event was filled to capacity, and the Club received many compliments on the hospitality and food.

Five-Year & Under Results
Ten enthusiastic teams participated in the USWCA’s 2007-08 Five-Year & Under Women’s Challenge, hosted by BG Curling Club on January 26-27, 2008 at the BG Ice Arena.

Freddie and Frieda Falcon made a cameo visit on Saturday to wish everyone well. A dinner dance was held on Saturday night with entertainment from our own Steve Christman performing his curling songs. Everyone enjoyed singing along!

BGCC vs. BGSU
The BG Curling Club took on the BGSU Student Curling Club in a one-day spiel on Saturday, February 9 at the BG Ice Arena. Unlike the previous week’s BGSU-UT Challenge, an awesome trophy was not at stake but the same friendly spirit of competition prevailed. In the end, the BGCC teams managed to rack up more points than their (younger) opposition. |
